Your Role
Master of Creativity
As a Video Editor at Team Educate, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually stunning content that brings our online educational materials to life. You will develop and implement strategies to accomplish our goals, ensuring the execution of these strategies through your editing skills and motion graphics expertise.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of success in developing and delivering video projects. They will be a strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on creative opportunities. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Ideal Candidate
Extensive experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
Proven track record in crafting visual narratives for online platforms
Expertise in motion graphics and animation tools like After Effects
In-depth knowledge of color grading
Experience with creating engaging content for YouTube
Familiarity with video compression and optimization
Excellent debugging and performance optimization skills
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
A strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality video content
Requirements
Video Edits For YouTube
Increase our YouTube's content team output.
You'll be working under our lead editor's wings helping increase our editing bandwidth. You'll be responsible for fully editing a few of our weekly videos, so that our team can work on multiple edits at the same time.
Create Engaging Motion Graphics
We need an animation wizard.
We produce documentary-level videos that should be shown in cinemas, that’s a fact. A big part of that is how we create visuals in such a way that our videos are entertaining from start to finish. An exceptional editor is someone who can understand this requirement and take a mundane video and turn it into something exceptional.
Editing Course Modules
Create the best-paid content this industry has ever seen.
Educate has the best online education programs in the industry. That's due to the fact that we put A LOT of attention into every single module we record. It will be part of your job to edit such content and ensure that our students get the most out of every minute.
What You'll Do

Working on a wide variety of creative projects, from Youtube videos, Ads, Courses and internal videos.

Staying up-to-date with deliverables and constantly striving to improve your skills and our content output.

Attend daily team calls with the Editing team (12:00 GMT) and Content Creation team (15:00 GMT) from Monday to Friday.

Coordinate with your Head of Dept on a weekly basis to ensure all deliverables are met.

Work proactively behind the scenes to learn new creative skills and techniques that can help you tell better stories and produce better content for Educate.
